Good Asian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai in Anaheim, Costa Mesa

I am new to the Board and I am sure my question is answered other places; but part of the problem with LA is there is so much information its hard for an out-of-towner like me to figure out what cuisine is where (and whether its realistic to make the drive from my location in Anaheim).

Anyway, will be staying next week in Anaheim and looking for good Asian places as we don't have much choice here in the Land of Enchantment.

Any help or advice is appreciated! And if you ever come this way, you'll get to see that New Mexican cuisine is nothing like Tex-Mex, AZ or even Cali.

Ten Ten is a really good, authentic chinese restaurant in anaheim off of euclid and the 5 freeway, i think. there's a 99 ranch market in the same center.

It is, and there is, and just be aware the the service is rude even by Chinese standards. For yum cha it's not so bad but the little poison pill at the front desk in the evenings needs to be sent to Room 101.

Garden Grove is a good korean area, not as good as LA but decent nevertheless. if u drive down garden grove blvd. (between beach and brookhurst) you can find an array of korean food. in costa mesa, santouka (mitsuwa food court) has good jap ramen, and tho i haven't tried it yet, daikokuya has opened its OC outpost in the marukai food court. (daikokuya in LA is my fav ramen place). sushi shibucho is pretty good in costa mesa.

Right between Anaheim and Costa Mesa is Little Saigon, with the very best Vietnamese food outside Vietnam. You're in luck. Do a search for "Westminster", "Garden Grove" or "Little Saigon" or "Bolsa" or "Brookhurst" and you'll get a wealth of suggestions, all dirt cheap.

For great Thai food most of the Chowhounders agree that Thai Naikorn is the best. It is located in the City of Stanton, a neighboring city of Anaheim.
