Having seen some reasonably positive reviews for La Fiesta over La Hacienda II or San Miguel, and being the B-Day Boy--so my pick (Masa's subbing last night with Mrs Crew for Liam's which evidently isn't open on Tuesday nights). Well, what a waste! Should have gone to San Miguel's or even the new Peppers!! Or possibly even--gag--Morella's.

As we drove up, one guest remarked" Oh I've been here, it wasn't that good." She was right.

Large cavernous space with musical accompaniment via one loud screaming 2 year old at a nearby table. Salsa had a bit of a kick and the chips were warm. Margaritas were so-so. Chile Relleno, burrito, taco combo was all the same fine ground unfavoraful meat. Pork chops (chuleta) were thin and tough. Charged extra for tortillas, warmed in microwave. Flan was too thick, no carmel sauce. Fried icecream looked like it was just covered with cornflakes and not really fried.

Needless to say we won't be returning. Guess I was dreaming of the wonderful meal I had at La Fiesta down in Port Orange last fall. Sorry, Same name but not same food.
