Delfina tonight - any must-haves?

What would you get and why?

  1. Everyone always mentions the roasted cauliflower dish. I've seen it mentioned quite often. Can't say I tasted it first hand since it's been a long time since I've been to the main dining room as opposed to the pizzeria next door.

    1. Not a specific recommendation, so much as an ordering strategy. I've found that I like the salads, vegetables, and pastas more than the mains.

      1. I eat there often and the menu changes daily. Some dishes are always on the menu and are excellent: the grilled calamari with white beans appetizer is a dish we order regularly, they have excellent salads, the pastas other than the spaghetti with plum tomatoes are always great, and the fourth entree down is usually the winner of the group. I've never ordered the chicken or the steak, but they seem to be popular.

        The roasted cauliflower is a regular dish at the pizzeria, not offered regularly at the restaurant.

        From last night's menu, I would order the artichoke appetizer, which I've had before and is excellent, the bucatini pasta, the little gem salad and the chilled asparagus salad (that one is great!), the cacciucco, the roast pork, and the grilled fennel crusted fennel. But a lot of those dishes won't be on tonight's menu.
