Recommendation for 8 people - moderate price

Can anybody recommend a good place to go with a group of 8 people that is not too expensive (under $30/person). Anywhere in Old Town, Lincoln Park, and Lakeview would work. This is for a group with diverse tastes and some of the people are not very adventurous. American, Mexican, Italian, or Middle Eastern would be ideal.

Google "Big Bowl", located in the Gold Coast neighborhood (next to Old Town) at Cedar & Rush. A cheerful place. Very reasonable, featuring very tasty Asian-type stir-fries ranging from $10 to $15. Make reservation if going in party of 8 as Big Bowl is terrifically popular with locals. No need to be adventurous; this is my ace place to take visitors and everyone loves it. See their menu by googling "Lettuce Entertain You" (their ownership) or "Chicago restaurant menus".

Tango Sur is a BYOB (to help with the cost) Argentinan resturant that is known for their beef. The most expensive item on the menu is $35 and that is for 2 people. Great steaks, fun atmosphere but it is loud. They are in Lakeview: 3763 N. Southport Ave.

I also like Maza. Its small but the food is great and the price is right. It is a Lebanese restaurant. Prices range from $9-17 and the Maza special is $30 for 2 people, which is 22 different hot and cold appetizers or their signature entree is a crown rack of lamb @ $48 for 2 people. You could probably work out making either of these for 8 people if you call in advance.

      Maza: 2748 N Lincoln Ave

For Old Town, any of the suggestions in the topic at www.chowhound.com/topics/501369 ought to work.
