soft shell crabs

the season for soft shell crabs is upon us and i can't wait! does anyone have any suggestions where in manhattan to get them prepared well? thanks for any suggestions.

      I dined at NY Noodletown and sampled its soft shell crabs for the first time about two weeks ago. They were pretty tasty!

          Can anyone tell me how long the SSC season lasts? I am always excited about it but before I get my fill it seems to be over. This year I really plan to make it to NY Noodletown.

            Generally late August or early September. But, they are smaller and more expensive by then. May and June are the best months, I believe.

            Track bar Penn Station LIRR level they have good soft shell crabs and other good seafood

              NY Noodletown is always a favorite for salt baked ss crabs.
