Deep Dish...Chicago style...

So, my friend is from Chicago and is need of some quality Deep Dish pizza.

he worked at some awesome place in Chicago (Lou Malnatis), so his standards are pretty high (as well they should be!).

Any suggestions of places in the boston area that can live up to this request?

sigh. what about decent deep dish? Though it sounds like Lou's might be hard to beat, anything is welcome...just for a fun new experience!.....

I'd be brave and take your friend to Santarpio's for a real Boston experience. If you're desparate theres always, ugh...pie crust, an Uno's around.

What others have said (order online). The absolute best bet IMO is Unos (the chain, ie the place started in Boston and not in Chicago) - so whatever his feeling on Unos (the chain) will give you a baseline for how happy you can possibly make him eating locally ;)
