Paris: Lunch near Eiffel Tower/Musee Branly

We'll be in Paris at the end of May this year, and intend to visit the new Musee Branly near the Eiffel Tower. We've been to Au Bon Accueil before, and wouldn't mind returning, but are there any other worthwhile restaurants in the area for a good lunch?

  1. Yes, there a lots of nice small bistrots in the 7th arr. and lots of them have been mentioned here already in other posts.

You might want to check these recent threads for some ideas in that area:

    1. We spent last week near the corner of rue St. Dominique and avenue Bosquet. There is a little ghetto of restaurants by Christian Constant right there, about a 10 minute walk from Musee du Quai Branly. You have your choice of Cafe Constant, Les Violons d'Ingres, La Fables de la Fontaine, and les Cocottes. You'll be very close to rue Cler, for a little food shopping too--don't miss Davoli. Very good boulangerie--Secco--is nearby.

      1. A cute "ladies who lunch" is on Rue de L'Universite, just behind the museum is called
        les Duex Abbeille.

Their berry crumble is very good.

        2. My husband and I just got back from our first trip to Paris. We had two great dinners at Le Bosquet, at the corner of Avenue Bosquet and Rue du Champs du Mars (just a block away from Rue Cler). Food is simple but elegant. Desserts are fantastic... mmmm... They're open for lunch too, 1200-1400, but we were generally out and about during the day.
