Restaurant for group of 8 Fordham students

Am visiting our Fordham senior this weekend and want to take her and around 8 friends out to dinner. We have been to Arthur Avenue several times, but are thinking of doing something different. We like Apizz and Cacio de Pepe. We already have reservations at Prune, Balthazar, and Lupa for the 3 of us this weekend. Any ideas in midtown, LES, or closer to Fordham where we could take the Fordham group? Does not need to be Italian. Willing to be adventurous.

You don't need to travel so far from the Fordham comfort zone for good food that will appeal to your senior. On the UWS, they might really enjoy Dovetail, Eighty-one, Kefi, Land Thai Kitchen, China de Puebla or Rosa Mexicano for dinner. P.J. Clarke's, Landmarc, Pinch and S'Mac, Grandaisy Bakery or Magnolia around lunchtime would be ideal and a trip to Barney Greengrass for brunch is definitely in order.

I think the OP may have been referring to the main Fordham campus in the Bronx, in which case your UWS options may not actually be very close.
