Kitchen 233?

My husband and I are going to Kitchen 233 in Westmont on Saturday night. Has anyone been there? What should we expect in terms of food, atmosphere, etc.?

  1. I was just there last weekend. Very nice atmosphere, especially in the room where the fireplace is. IMO the restaurant could use a dash of color, as it is almost entirely grey in color; though well done. Chairs are comfortable, and you are not on top of the other diners. We had a very good server.
I had seared scallops, and my friend had the lobster and crab-crabcakes. Very good. We had an appetizer of spicy rock shrimp that I've had before and they were really good, as was a spinach salad with poached pears.
They have a large selection of wines by the glass. I would say the food is good to very good; depending on what you have. I think it's one of the nicer restaurants in the area and would not hesitate to go back again.

Thanks so much! I have heard all good things, but I have also heard that the menu has changed dramatically since the place opened so I wasn't sure what to expect!.
