What to Order at Josie?

Great choice! I've been wanting to try the short rib tangine but I always get the venison, which is absolutely delicious, or less frequently, the rib eye medallions. Enjoy and please report back!

Like other have said, the short ribs tagine is a must.

Also, the skewered seppie with merguez sausage is delicious and for a simple, but impeccable and intensely flavorful entree, the jidori salt-crusted chicken.

Yes, this is the only restaurant in America where I'd recommend an entree as simple as the chicken.

Ditto the rec for the chocolate bread pudding (it's light like a souffle).

Can't go wrong with their specials of the night or the short ribs -- and also their truffle fries.

Save room for dessert too!

The short rib tangine is spectacular and a specialty of the house. It is absolutely delicious. Also, make sure to order the chocolate bread pudding regardless of whether you saved room or not! They also had a wonderful citrus and burrata salad on the menu when I was there a couple months ago.
