Is Tapioca Kosher for Passover ?

Since Tapioca is made from cassava (yuca) which is a root vegetable such as potatoes, is it considered kosher for passover ? Minute tapioca is OK but it doesn't specify for Passover. Any brand you know that would be KFP ?. Thanks.

I''ve not come across any so far with a Kosher for Passover hechsher. While tapioca starch, like potato starch, is an ingredient in many Kosher for Pesach foods, it seems hard to find tapioca pearls of any size that are intended to be eaten during Pesach.

Anyone else learned any further on this? My dad happened to ask me this afternoon if they were KFP and I wasn't sure either...

Tapioca is fine for passover as long as it is not treated. Therefore no instant minute tapioca.
