  1. We're here!

Here's a new favorite for hole-in-the-wall down home eats.

Click on my profile, and you'll see what I've been dishing out for the past couple of years. Most of it is still here (no Crush anymore, but someone's moving into the space.
)I've been kind of hit and miss with the chowhounding lately, but you'll get an idea of what's good that I've found.

    1. I can give you another GREAT restaurant that serves pizza... Sorbellos on DeBarry and Wells Rd in Orange Park is a great hole in the wall. I've never eaten their pizza though. It's owned and operated by Sicilian immigrants and the Tortellini al Ragu is to die for. Great Chicken Marsalla and white sauce tortellini with mushrooms, ham and peas. I can't remember what it's called, though. The decor is lacking and the service is pretty spotty but the food is great.

Another of my favorites is Hiro-Ya on San Jose. It's Korean and Japanese food, but I have to say, I stick pretty faithfully to the pork Bul-go-gi. The side dishes are great and the pork is so spicy and wonderful, I just can't say enough about it.

And Arden's Kave sounds great! I wish I still worked on the westside so I could check it out. I generally cook all my own southern food.
