Cooking Classes?

Becfhlax Apr 7, 2008 10:53 AM

Hi,
I am looking for any interesting cooking classes in the area.
I have done a meal preparation evening (hands-on at StudioGourmet) in Yardley.
It was great, but I am looking for a little bit more.
Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what is up next, but check out Foster's Homeware at 4th and Market in Phila. They have demonstrations and also offer cooking classes in conjunction with Temple University. http://www.shopfosters.com/

Viking has a cooking school in Berwyn. It is really hands-on and great fun! They have a variety of classes. vikingcookingschool.com

Is that Berwyn or Bryn Mawr?

The Reading Terminal Market has some cooking classes. I think that like the ones at Foster's, they're in conjunction with Temple U.

The Viking Kitchen is off Lancaster Ave in Bryn Mawr (shopping center with a Staples & Bertucci's). I've taken numerous classes there and have nothing but good things to say about them.
