stopped by early this morning, and my friend picked up a delightful little ham and cheese puff, apparently the hands-down favorite and for 75 cents, a perfect treat. about 4 whole bites, it looked like a hollow creme puff with the diced ham baked into the bottom, very much like the "dutch" available with a variety of fillings (including ham and cheese), a very crusty but hollow pastry sold at korean bakery Koryodang.

anyway, the lady behind the counter was very sweet and she was tending to her regulars who stopped in for both her sweets and savories.
