Hello all! I've recently discovered the gustatory delights of goat cheese. I love the stuff. Does anyone know where I might find locally made goat cheese in the Bay Area?

Andante Dairy at the Saturday SF Ferry Building Farmers' Market. Quite simply, the best goat cheese I have ever tasted in my life. Get there early because she will sell out.

Both great suggestions ... Andante and Harley ... also Bodega & Yerba Santa Goat Cheese sold at the Saturday Ferry Plaza farmers market. Harley is also availble at Whole Foods, but sometimes they don't handle it correctly.

You also might stop by Cheesboard in Berkeley for local and not local goat cheeses.

I love it, too, as long there are no beets or arugula hanging around with it. My vote goes to Achadinha, but if you go to the Ferry Building Farmers' Market, you'll find that goat cheese almost overshadows cow's milk cheese these days, and there are many vendors to sample.
