It's on tonight. Iron Chef America.

Cora v. Oringer
The Chairman has invited young Chef Ken Oringer to Kitchen Stadium. Chef Oringer challenges Iron Chef Cat Cora to battle. Will Chef Oringer's originality earn him a win against Iron Chef Cora, or will Iron Chef Cora walk away a Champion?! Tune in to see whose cuisine reigns supreme

Can't wait to see wait Billings will come up with, never mind Oringer...

Im really happy that a Boston chef is being represented on FN. Oringer did a phenomenal job with his menu and hopefully he'll bring some much-needed attention to Boston's culinary scene. Mmmm espresso cotton candy.

why would he challenge her? because he figures he can beat her? Wouldn't really interest me, because Ken is truly a TOP Chef, who should be able to beat any of them. If he were challenging Morimoto, now THAT would be interesting.

PS, Therefore, I hope she kicks his butt clear into next week!

Do you think they actually have a choice about who they challenge? Seems really unlikely to me. If they were able to challenge anyone, would anyone challenge her?

According to the recent "tell-all" ICA articles, they do choose the chef they are challenging. I just watched the episode and was actually surprised at how close it was. After listening to the judges gush all over Oringer's food, I thought it would be a rout. But they seemed very impressed with Cora's food as well. Overall I thought it was a great challenge, but a very offbeat secret ingredient.

His food was amazing and creative and he knocked it out of the park. That venison confit looked incredible. I would have loved to see him go up against Symon...I bet he would have used coffee to make some bold, delicious flavors (involving pork, no doubt). Cora must have the worst win/loss record of any of them...to wikipedia I go to find out...

This was one of the better episodes. I only wish I could have tasted the food. It appeared that they both made great use of an offbeat secret ingredient. I've never seen such a high-scoring contest.
