Where to buy cacao nibs?

Does anyone know where I can get some roasted cocao nibs? Are they easy to find? I want to try baking with them but have never even looked on the grocery shelves. I am in the Mid-City area, and am happy to go anywhere on the Westside or to Silverlake, Echo Park or Pasadena. (Just not the Valley or South Bay really) I found them easily enough online but want them for Tuesday...

Thanks in advance!

I believe they still have them in the bulk section at Co-Opportunity (16th & Broadway in Santa Monica).

You can find them in any health food store but the BEST place to get them is Amazon.com. They are organic and the cheapest available in So. Cal. You can get 2 1 lb bags for about $25. They're about $14-$16 a lb or more in Whole Foods. I always get mine from Amazon.

I think I've seen some either at Whole Foods on 3rd & Fairfax or at Sur La Table at the Grove, somewhat recently. I can't recall exactly which store, so you'd better give them a call to make sure.
            Otherwise, I also second Surfas.

It's been a while, but I bought the Scharffenberger nibs at Sufas. See if they still carry it.
