Eating near OC Airport

I'm looking for a Vietnamese or Mexican (or any other ethnic) around the airport. Thanks!

5-10 minutes from the airport is Vietnam's Pearl on Baker at Fairview (in strip center next to Jack-In-the-Box). Good pho, beef and noodles, and sandwiches. Cash only.

Darya (Persian) isn't too far from the airport.

There are some excellent Vietnamese restaurants in OC. but most are at least 20-30 minutes north on the 405 in Westminster or Garden Grove. If this is not too far, Google Chateau Brodard or S Fine Dining for two good choices.

The best Mexican near SNA is probably Taleo in the center at Jamboree & Michelson. El Torito Grill on Main isn't bad either, but I prefer Taleo. If you have lots of time, and are interested in an incredible scene, with decent food, do go to Javier's in Newport Coast. Expect a long wait and crowds.

Another option for high-end Mexican is Taco Rosa, maybe 3 miles south of the airport.

Do you have a time limit? Your best bet for Vietnamese would be to pop on the very close 405 onramp and head into Little Saigon for Vietnamese or the the 55 freeway to Santa Ana for Mexican. Both are pretty close.
