In June we will not be getting to our hotel until about 9:30 on a Sunday night. We are on 50th and 3rd. Any thing open in the area that is good? 4 people one 12 yrs. old.

It would be helpful to know your cuisine preferences and budget for food, but that said...

If you and your family like steak, Smith & Wollensky is right there, on the corner of 3rd & 49th. Open until midnight.

If you like Italian, Luna Piena is on 53rd, b/t 2nd & 3rd. Open until 11 p.m. on Sunday.

smith & wollensky may be a little to much at that time of night. we are open for almost any cuisine. price point about $15 to $20 per main.

Not exactly close, i.e., walking distance, from where they are staying unless, of course, they don't mind taking a cab. And if that's the case, there are many other possibilities in other neighborhoods.

        What say you, fred42?

            ubuntu,

I don't eat oysters and sushi. Fried chicken? Maybe. But my first choice would be pastrami on rye with a Dr. Brown's cream soda. Sarge's is open 24/7. :-)) If fred24 is interested, it's on 3rd, b/t 36th & 37th.

we would prefer to stay close to the hotel. i had actually heard that the fried chicken was very good. the last time in manhatten we went to Jacque imo but the location has been take over by the shake shack from what i understand.
