Best Steak Frites?
I've had steak frites all over town (and in other towns) but I find most places have good steak and poor frites or great frites and couldn't cook a steak to save their lives. Or the meat is simply not a good cut.
What's your favorite steak frites in LA?

My boyfriend ordered the steak frites at 750 ml in Pasadena and it was probably the best steak frites I've tasted anywhere. Not cheap at all, but an immense steak, at least 16 oz, and of excellent quality. It was a New York steak. We went back a couple of weeks later and he ordered a different steak frites, billed as an American Kobe steak which was very good but not out of this world like the first one. They change the menu every day, so I'm not sure what to expect, but the New York steak was fabulous. I should note that both times the frites were very good and served with homemade dipping sauce.
