barcelona and parador vic sau

will be spending 4 nites in barcelona in september at the hotel apsis splendid in exiample...any suggestions/comments?...also will be at the parador vic sau for an additional 3 nites...wondering if anyone has eaten in the restaurant there and what the food is like...will not stay so long if the food isn't wonderful...if not, where would you spend 3 nites within an hour's drive of bcn airport where the food and scene are great?...thanks so much...sandra
