Does anyone have a recent report? I'm thinking of taking my mother there for Mother's Day. She really enjoyed it when we went a couple of years back, but haven't gone since.

I'm sorry to say, don't bother. My last visit was a disaster. We used to love this place. It was the first time I ever had to send food back twice. There were 3 of us and one meal was fine out of two. Two meals sent back and only one of the 2 came back satisfactory.
Also there was no effort by the restaurant to comp the meal (not that I'm the type to look for a freebie, but it was the "don't care" attitude that bothered us the most. There are several places in the area that are better.

I don't agree with Pashibaboy remarks on the Accomac Inn. I have been there several times and the food is great. Check out Susquehanna Style Magazine for a review.
Take your mom and have a very nice time.

Haven't been there in a while, but we never had a bad meal at the Accomac. Our daughter is an F&M grad and we always ate there when we went to see her. In fact, we've been back quite a few times since she graduated. I surprised by pashibaboy's comments.

I have been there several times, and have only great things to say about it. We are from Chester County, and can make it there in about an hour, and the setting, food, service etc. is above reproach. It is also quite apparent that they truly care about their service and clientele. I think you and your guests will love a Mother's Day celebrated with them! Please report back with your experience.

I was there April 24th and had a wonderful dinner. I am there almost monthly. They have recently changed the decor and also the table settings. There are new lights and new additions to the menu. The new chef - Andre - is a shy but delightful man and talented cook. There have been some new additions to the menu that are very european such as pork cheek etc, but the seafood is always amazing as well as the steak Diane. Make sure to sit on the porch during the summer evenings after 7, its beautiful.
