We have a day to go looking for the ''smoke''. Anyone between San Antonio and Austin open on Sunday. Anyone that is with 'killer' barbecue.

Not to derail, but what time does Luling City Market close on Monday? Tried Googling, but can only find links to the supposed "knock-off" in Houston. Try to call, but they don't pickup. Trying to pre-plan a trip there on my last day in SA.

We were there on a Saturday Easter weekend, and they were running out of everything by 4PM...

No matter which of these places you go on Sunday, it's advisable to be there when they open. The 'cue flies out the door.

You're in luck. In the barbecue mecca of Lockhart, both Smitty's and Black's are open on Sundays, though Smitty's closes around 3 P.M. Personally, I much prefer Smitty's. Here are links to their websites:
