Post Screening Dinner Fairfax Area

Looking for a casual, not too expensive but good food for a dinner; post-screening of indie film place to have dinner for about 20-30 people on a Monday night around 9pm.
Screening will be at Silent Movie Theatre/Fairfax HIgh School area in June.
A fun ethnic Mom and Pop place would be great ...
All suggestions appreciated.

Yes but, not cheap. And 30 people would probably take up every seat in the house.

Perhaps. But, worth a call. Although I don't specifically know about Chameau, many restaurantuers would be thrilled to host a private event on a Monday night.

don't know if this is in your price range, but I really like Carlitos Gardel on Melrose just west of Fairfax. Great Argentinian food and great atmosphere. I would not call it casual, but it is by no means formal.

WHy not head down Fairfax and go to Messob, the Ethiopian restaurant? They can do a really nice job with a group that size and the food is great. I would suggest ordering in advance so that the food is ready when you get there.

Haven't been, but Terroni is around the corner. I want to go because I hear good things about the pizza. Don't know if it'll hold that many people.

There's a decent family-run Thai place on Fairfax, just south of Beverly, called Chao Krung. Short walk from the Silent.
