First time in NYC

My girlfriend and I will be making a trip to the Big Apple in 2 weeks. Would love suggestions anywhere in Manhattan for Asian, Italian, or American dining. Nothing over 50-60 per person. (I know that is limiting!!) Any help would be appreciated.

People will probably suggest that you give some more parameters, but I will start off with some suggestions.

Felidia for fancy Italian
Loved Alta for Italian small plates (W10th near 6th avenue)
Crispo (also Italian) was good as well, loved the panna cotta (W14th near 8th avenue)
Gramercy Tavern for what I would consider American
Shake Shack for burgers (also American, I guess) (Madison Square Park, 23rd)
Nam for Vietnamese (Tribeca)
John's Shanghai
