Pomodoro Restaurant?

Would you recommend this place to take people to ? And, if so, what dishes are yum?

The Pomodoro Restaraunt on Westwood Blvd is great. But..I think you might be speaking of the chain one. The one on Westwood is tasty and pretty reasonable..it's tiny though so there might be a wait and it can get loud.

As for the chain..I've never been.

IMO, they also have good specials and many of the entrees are available to two serving sizes so you don't have to over order. The only negative - their wines by the glass choices are poor and expensive. Bad value there. Good value everywhere else on the menu. Service has always been pleasant. The pre-paid discount card mentioned below makes things a super deal.

If you're asking about Pomodoro Restaurant in Westwood, then my answer is yes.

If you're asking about the Pomodoro CHAIN, I've only been there for happy hour and I think it's a great deal....all the appetizers are half price and there are a couple of really good ones, drinks and imported drafts are $3.00

Thanks to the both of you. Sounds like the happy hour will be fun to take our son there when we come out from Boston in two weeks to visit. Have a great day!

i know i will probably get slammed for saying this, but for a chain, i actually find pomodoro to be fairly good. i guess i would compare them to a chain like maria's italian kitchen... anyways, i like the fact that they offer whole wheat pasta, which is nice for those who are watching their carbs. i love their malfadine pasta (shrimp and asparagus in a cream sauce), and their roast chicken with orzo is also delicious.

im also strangely addicted to the pesto sauce that they serve with their bread - they pour it out of a squirt bottle which grosses me out, but its so good!

I love their malfadine as well, get it everytime. Also, their butternut squash appetizer/dinner is delish!
