Rehearsal Dinner-Harrisburg

  • 6

Hi,

I'm getting married in Harrisburg this spring and I have not been living in the area since I was in high school (early mid 1990's). Where is a good but not super expensive place to eat in either Harrisburg, Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg Area? I know nothing about the 2nd street scene in Harrisburg though I've been on a few websites and they seem to be a little overpriced for what it really is? My budget is around 30/per person not including drinks or less if possible! Thanks in advance for any help.

  1. How many people? What about Confit French Bistro in camp hill? I've had some very good dinners there, and it is BYO. They might be able to put something together for you. I would think a BYO would be the an inexpensive option for a rehearsal dinner.

About 20-25 people...thank you for your suggestion! I've read a lot of great things about it but havent been able to find a website to check out their menu :( also I'm open to any kind of food.

    2. You may want to check out the recently opened Lancaster Brewing Co in Harrisburg. Our office held a party there last Wed for 40 people and the food was fantastic to say nothing of the beer. It has been our best party yet, and everyone has commented on how great everything was. We were seated in a private area that seats about 50 or so that looks like it would be great for a rehearsal dinner. I don't know their phone number, but I think their website is www.lbcharrisburg.com

      1. I'm getting married in June did research on a few places in the area.
Our's is at Appalachian Brewing Company in Harrisburg (www.abcbrew.com
)We also looked into What If...Cafe on 6th St, Sasha's Hideaway on Linglestown Rd in Harrisburg, and Hershey Pantry/Events Etc in Hershey.
I would definitly look into Lancaster Brewing Company! One of my co-workers also works there and they have amazing food.
I like ABC (appalachian brewing company) becasue of the relaxed atmosphere and relaxed food. We're serving pork bbq and everyone is getting a root beer float for dessert b/c they brew their own root beer (along with their own beers!).

Tehre's also Bube's Brewery in Mount Joy (might be too far) or Bricco in Harrisburg.

        I hope that helps!

        1. New Market Bistro in Camp Hill has a lovely upstairs room that would work out great. Just give Russ or Brett a call & I'm sure they can work something out to your liking.
