Anyone have My Bombay Kitchen by Niloufer Ichaporia King?
I'm wondering how good this cookbook is. The emphasis is on Parsi cooking. I think I have more Indian cookbooks in my collection than any other cuisine and can't decide if I need another.

re: rabaja
I haven't purchased it, yet. It doesn't look like it's going to make it as Cookbook of the Month, but I think I'm going to get it anyway. Here's a link to a review, and there are links from that page to an interview with the author and a discussion forum about the book.

I have it, I have it, I have it!
I actually have tried to suggest this book twice for COTM, and I've been totally ignored, but I received it late last year and I love it!
It may be a personal thing, I've met and greatly admire the author, but really, Parsi cooking is DELICIOUS.
Try the spice mixture she uses on quail, so far I've tried it on lamb chops and they have been a hit, actually the best lamb I've ever prepared.
Her egg dishes are also delightful and I'm looking forward to trying more of everything.
The garlic and ginger paste she has you make and keep for basic preparations of most dishes is so simple, yet adds so much flavor-and I shy away from regular garlic as a general rule.
Please try some recipes and let me know what you think. It would be great to start a discussion here, and I am now motivated to cook from it more.
