do you mean ramyun/udon - soup noodles?
If so, then I would recommend Ippudo, Ramyun Setagaya, Village Yokocho

I think you're talking about soup dumplings. I like Joe's Shanghai (despite what all the naysayers on this board will say, they're still good). Another decent place is Shanghai Cuisine (not as fatty as Joe's).

If so, New Green Bo is also another good place for soup dumplings.

hey just be aware ya'll, New Green Bo is changing to Nice Green Bo. Is that considered good news for the 'downhill alert!'-types? or perhaps bad news for the 'NGB is the best!'-types? anyone, interesting stuff going on:

Shanghai Cafe at 100 Mott Street has the best in Chinatown IMHO - closest I've come to ones I've had in Shanghai and Taipei. Goodies on East Broadway is #2.
