Carson Area restaurant recommendations please

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew of some good restaurants in the Carson area. Specifically, I am looking for somewhere to eat as an alternative to the Home Depot Center. I love Jay Bee's BBQ , Paradise (is this one still open?) and also El Pollo Inca is close by. Any others that are casual for a sporting event, but can be quick for a bite before game time? Thanks

  1. Are you travelling from Carson? Because, otherwise, I suggest you extend your range from your origin to your destination . . .

Oh my, anything other then Carson I have no problem with (and I am usually coming from the West Side) It's just that when you are in a hurry, you try to get to Carson first, and then choose a neighborhood restaurant. So I understand the paucity of selections in the area, but still, there are nice ones that will do in a pinch.

        Thanks for the link...good suggestions

      2. Depot in Torrance. It's great, and close by.

Yes Depot is great, but not close enough to the Home Depot Center, and defineately, not casual; I would dress up to go there. Thanks anyway.

          1. Bodacious Q near Cal State Dominguez is great for ribs, esp the St. Louis.
Back Home Lahaina for Hawaiian plate lunch. I recommend the Hawaiian fried chicken with chashu fried rice.
