Business lunch around Glendale/Burbank?

Hello all,

Looking for suggestions for a week-day business lunch in Glendale, Burbank, Eagle Rock for 5 people, aiming for about $30/person for food. Would prefer to avoid Steak houses (so no Damon's), Mexican, Chinese and Sushi (due to dietary restrictions). Bashan looked like it would be great, but seems to be dinner only. I browsed through some of the earlier posts, but nothing jumped out.

I concur - Far Niente would be PURRfect. Asia on Los Feliz Blvd. is groovy, but alas no sushi - you may want to check out their menu b/c it's on the semi-large side and they offer electic plates.

If you're mentioning areas including Glendale and Burbank, would Los Feliz/Silverlake be in your target zone? If so, my two favorite lunch spots are Vermont and Blair's. Blair's might be a little more casual, though Vermont can hardly be called formal. (I see a lot of "business-type lunches there) I frequent both places, and find them to have good solid food with very nice service.

In Glendale, Far Niente would be perfect and my first suggestion - good food and service, large menu. Gennaros also a possibility - it has a more sedate atmosphere.
