Where To Find Berkshire?

goodcookiedrift Apr 1, 2008 12:51 PM

Anyone have a good spot in the Toronto area (preferably downtown) that carries Berkshire Pork? Looking to get a hold of a Boston Butt to put into the smoker this weekend.

Lady and Son Butcher on Queen East (at Jones) also has Berkshire and it's cheaper than Healthy Butcher by far.

Atelier Thuet in Liberty Village used to carry it regularly. I haven't been in quite sometime so I'd call first.

I don't know about the particular cut you're looking for but Oliffe carries thick and scrumptious Berkshire pork chops.

Healthy Butcher carries it, if they don't have it in they will have a reasonable high quality option...

PS: Good luck & I'm soooooooooooo jealous!!...if you live near me by chance I'm following the smoke!

Cumbrae's on Church St. below Wellesley, but call first so that they set one aside for you.

              Thanks for the heads up.

There's nothing like waking your neighbours up at 8am with the scent of applewood smoke...especially when its been going all night. ;)

And if some random person shows up in my backyard, I'll assume this to be you and leave a plate and a fresh white bun.
