Coach Insignia, Detroit?

There've been various discussions of luxury places in the city of Detroit lately, and sometimes Coach Insignia comes up. Has anyone been there lately? If the ball bounces my way I might have something to celebrate soon. Obviously the view is exceptional. But how's the food?

I went to Coach Insignia last August, and i would totally go back again! Yes the view was awesome!(we had a window seat at sunset) The food was amazing! The waitstaff was super friendly also. Another great restaurant to try out is the rattlesnake club!

I've only been twice (and not in quite a while) but I found both times that the ambiance (view) was spectacular, and the food just pretty good. While the view is hard to beat, it appears that the new Motor City Casino permanent location has built a revolving restaurant (Iridenscensce) with a similar view. I personally might prefer to try that next time I'm looking for a celebratory Detroit-with-a-view locale. http://www.motorcitycasino.com/
