German Deli in Nashville or Birmingham?

We live in B'ham but I travel between Nashville and B'ham on a regular basis. Is there any German Deli or market that carries a lot of German items?

  1. Depends on what you're looking for. We have a Russian Deli (Alexsy's on Thompson Lane) and a couple of Italian delis (on 51st off Charlotte -- darn if I can remember the name, but their meat is nice) and a really good global grocery store with a pretty good selection of European items (on Ridley Boulevard next to the Adventure Science Center.

Mostly German sausages and luncheon meats. My husband grew up in Germany (Army Brat) and we had easy sources for good German sausages and luncheon meats in South Florida but except for the stuff we have found at grocery stores (which doesn't compare to the German deli in Miami or what in-laws get from Patrick's AFB).
