Where could I buy those mochi balls that they put in Pinkberry's Shaved Iced Yogurt

Just came back home from Pinkberry's in LA and had there shaved ice yogurt with fruits. I LOVED IT. I Loved the mochi ball's especially. was wondering where I could buy just those mochi balls? Just the flour one's not the one with ice cream in it. Could I just go to an asian grocery store or japanese one to buy them? Are they hard to make? I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Hopefully someone could recommend a place to me. I checked Ranch 99 this morning and didn't see it there.

I have this same post on the LA board as well.

Trader Joes sells Mochi Balls, I am not sure if they are the same as you are surching for.

The Trader Joes version includes the ice cream. For just the mochi, try any of the numerous Japanese groceries. Nijiya on Post St in Japantown in SF is a good bet. They should have both frozen and fresh mochi. Also, try the mochi cafes in Japantown - Benkyodo is in Buchanan Street Plaza.
