Hey fellow foodies....I'm needing a place to have my rehearsal dinner. I've got 11 or 12 people...and a budget of $500-$600. This place needs to be within a 45 min drive of Dallas. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try The Grape on Greenville. We had a birthday party there not too long ago and it was great.

I ate at Tillman's Roadhouse again this weekend, and had a great time again. They have a really cool private room in the back, several people we were with commented how cool it would be to have a party there, you might be pressing your budget a little though. It is definitely a place for a loud, fun crowd, if that's what you're looking for.

That's a great suggestion!!! It would be very fun and I'll bet they'd work with you on a menu.

We had ours at Celebration on Lovers. I think it was around $20 or so pp, so well within your budget. We had a private room which was nice.

Of course, you have to be into home cooking which with our crowd was exactly the right food/atmosphere.

We had a birthday party in the back room of Newport's Seafood. I think it was around $40-$50 a head. Great food and wonderful service. The building itself is a an old brewery. It has a lot of character.
