Gourmet Take Out North GTA?

Does anyone know any gourmet take out places in northern GTA? Rich Hill, Markham pref. Thanks!

Have you been to the Village Grocer in Unionville??? Kennedy Road
and Carlton just North of Highway #7?
They have lots of prepared food made on the premises to choose from as well
as an amazing butcher shop and cake and pastry counter.

They have both frozen and fresh foods to go.

I've heard of it, but is the prepared food anything special? I'm looking for more than just a pasta dish or something like that, will check their website if they have anything, thanks for the suggestion though.

It depend on the day as the fresh food varies...but they generally have some great salmon, stuffed chicken, lobster quiche, all kinds of amazing dips and spread, appetizers, and then frozen their own product which ranges from different chicken dishes and beef...the quality is unbeatable....and all their desserts are baked on the premises. Great frozen soups too!

You will also find great produce..and butcher. It is definite worth a trip.

What do you consider 'gourmet'? What type of food are you looking for? eg. Would Dante's pizza be considered 'gourmet', or are you looking for something like Terra?

Probably something in between...definately a step or 2 above Dante's, but Terra and slightly below is fine.
