Beef Noodle Soup - Dallas

I stayed at the Formosa Regent in Taipei a few years back and had beef noodle soup for the first time. It blew me away. The problem is that I have never found one to come even close to it. I have tried one of the places in the Richardson Greenville area and it had a watery broth and did not taste that great. Don't remember which one.

So anyway, where is the best beef noodle soup in the Dallas area?

I recently asked the same question, so have you tried both king noodle and cafe mandarin? what did you think? I also read that king noodle has shaved ice...

What style.....I assume Tawainese?

Some say the soups at Kings Noodles are excellent....sicne you know the area it is right across the street from First Chinese BBQ in Richardson.

I love King Noodle. They have a beef stew. Very flavorful and I seem to remember the beef being quite tender.

I have no idea if it can compare with the Formosa Regent, but I do occasionally drive the 15 minutes to get my fix at King Noodle. If you knew me, you'd realize how long of a drive that is.

I like Cafe Mandrain in Ricardson right down from Jen Chi. I really like it there beacause the broth and meat has a little more substance to it. King noodle is good but a little plain for me.
