Northern Chinese dumplings in Philly

Hong Bao at 11th and Race. Ignore the complete lack of atmosphere (styrofoam plates, formica tables, refilled sriracha bottles), and the off-putting buffet selections. Go straight for the dumplings: pork with cabbage, pork with scallion, shrimp, fish, or lobster. These are the best dumplings (the shui jiao kind) I have had in Philly. Handmade, Shandong style. For anyone familiar with the dumplings at Qingdao Garden or Wang's in Boston area, these are the same type. If you want different dipping sauce than plain soy sauce, ask for some garlic to mix with the soy sauce, or for hot pepper sauce.
