HELP:)! - BRUNCH Recommendations needed on East Side for next Sunday!!!!

We're a group of six looking for an 11 am reservation. Many of the great brunch places we like to go to are downtown (e.g., Five Points), but we have to stay centrally located as some of the group have to catch west coast flights mid-day. Sarabeth's unfortunately doesn't take reservations. Any suggestions?

I just passed a new place on 2nd Avenue and 85th called Ciao Bella (it used to be Panorama Cafe). It looks very nice inside and I've marked it down as a place to try out ASAP. You should check it out:

I also like Saucy at 75th & York for a reasonable and tasty brunch. The menu isn't very large but the food is really good. Good luck!

Artisinal on East 32nd or 33rd. Something for everyone, takes reservations, nice brunch or lunch food.

        Two possibilities:

Pamplona, on 28th St., b/t Madison & Park Av. S., serves a Spanish-inspired menu for Sunday brunch. I haven't tried it yet, but we've been there a number of times for dinner, and I'm a huge fan of Chef/owner Alex Urena's inventive cuisine. They open at 11 a.m. and take reservations.

Cibo, on the corner or 2nd Av. & 41st St., serves Sunday brunch starting at 11 a.m. Food's very good and surroundings are pleasing. They accept reservations.

Just as a counter point on Pamplona - I went with my husband one Sunday for lunch around 1pm and we were the only people there the entire time. I wasn't as excited about the food, but did like the churros and the hamburger. Not big on brunch, so I don't have any particular brunch suggestions unfortunately.

Although we've not had any disappointing dishes at Pamplona thus far, I do think the hamburguesa and the churros are two of the most outstanding items on the menu, so much so, that we've had them more than once.

Thanks RGR and everyone for, as always, your wonderful recommendations. They have always been great and never disappoint. We are also considering Atlantic Grill. Has anyone been there for brunch recently?

I've never been to Atlantic Grill, but I have family members who has been there a number of times over the years for dinner and tell me it's fine but nothing special.
