Six of us are going to dinner for fondue for my fiance's 30th birthday. I am looking for a place with great fondue, good atmosphere and drinks, and moderately priced. These are the places that I've heard that serve fondue. Do you have any suggestions from these or others? I haven't been to any of them.

Swizz
Honey
Kashkaval
La Bonne Soupe
The Boureois Pig

For a 30th, I'd either do Honey or Artisanal...the others on your list are very casual and not "birthday-ish" in my opinion...ESPECIALLY for #30.

Thanks. Honey is definitely an option. We probably won't go to Artisnal b/c we're going to a class given by them on that same day.

Swizz is actually owned by a Swiss couple. They're pretty good, though there's a little mini boycott going on now in the Swiss community..hehe. There's a private room downstairs which is nice for larger groups. I've seen a couple of birthdays there.
