downtown vietnamese suggestions

I am downtown temporarily, (Spring street area, near Chinatown) and I see lots of little Vietnamese places, and/or pho joints. I might only have a chance to try one or two, so I wanted to see if there are any you guys have tried and recommend and/or would caution me to avoid. I love a good pho, but if there's more dishes to try, all the better.

Pho 87 is the Grubs' downtown Vietnamese resto of choice. Outstanding in every respect (well, maybe not ambience) -- terrific dense pho & usual suspects.
