      <content>You can find fatback at just about any Safeway.  Here, though, they call it salt pork.  It's usually in the meat section (pork area) on an upper shelf and wrapped in plastic.</content>

      <content>I am not sure they are the same. This link suggests blanching salt pork,I assume,  to desalinate it before sustituting it for fatback.

      <content>Corrrect, they are not the same thing. Any respectable butcher will sell pork back fat on special order.
