Arabian Nights in the Mission is an authentic Lebanese restaurant and serves some of the best Lebanese dishes I've ever had other than my grandmother's. They even serve a few dishes that are hard to find anywhere outside of Lebanon. The food is truly amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's the real deal.

Ararat, Fattoush, Good Frickin' Chicken, Kan Zaman, Tahoun in SF, Mijana and Saahara in Burlingame, Habibi in Fremont, Fayrouz in Palo Alto, and Just Laziz in San Jose have been alleged to have Lebanese dishes.

Wow, thanks! I remember going to one a long time ago that I thought was near the Union Square/Financial District area, but I can't remember exactly where or what the name of the restaurant was. Any ideas about that?

Ararat in the Castro has moved and I don't know if there's an ETA on when their new location opens. It's been replaced in that space by Poesia.

Not Lebanese per se, but there are reports that Old Jerusalem in the Mission is popular with young Lebanese.
