East Village Ice Cream

Hello my fellow chowhounders.....
I've been away for a year and have missed NYC!
I'm back now and I am happy to say that I have found a gem in the east village.
It may not be good for my waistline...but the East Village Ice Cream on Avenue B
is quite devine. They have a list of about ten icecreams on the board, however they only have 4-5 on hand at one time. Now let's talk blueberry icecream! If they have it, it is a must order! Tiny tasty bluberries flow throught the blueberrry creamy heaven. Seriously, the fat content is high ....so you don't need a lot but so flavorful. I did try the choc chip icecream which was less than impressive- it didnt have great flavor. Next on my list is the pistachio......

Interesting. I went last summer w/high hopes for the place (alum of Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory opened it). The person behind the counter couldn't have been nicer, and I really wanted to like it, but I left pretty unimpressed.

The chocolate chocolate chip is really good. Regular chocolate chip, not so much.
