It is for lunch on a Sunday. No hard restrictions, but would prefer something casual, within walking distance, and not too expensive. Good food is more imporatant than ambience. Thanks.

Sunday is a tough one, as a lot of good places are not open for lunch then. Try Attman's on Lombard on the east side of President's street if you want fantastic corned beef and pastrami on rye. There will probably be a long line (though it moves pretty fast) and there's some seating -- send one of your party to stake a claim to a table when you get there while the others stand in the line. Sounds like a lot of trouble, but it's well worth it.

For a really casual lunch, especially to go, Caffe Sotto is very good. Great panini and salads. I think it's on Light and Pratt.
