  1. What do you consider "moderately priced"? And do you have any cuisine preferences?

cuisine is pretty open..we are all good eaters...two are non drinkers... I would say no more than $30 pp

    2. Gennaro - 94th/amsterdam - cash only

The new Japanese emporium, Kouzan, on West 93rd and Amsterdam is lovely, serene, moderately priced with flavorful food. You might want to try the Neptune Room on Amsterdam. And there's also Dock's on Broadway.

      2. I would second the rec for Gennaro - excellent food. It can get very crowded there and I don't think they take reservations. We also like Gabriela's (94/Columbus). It's a lovely space and their food is solid.

If you are going further down, then I'd recommend Celeste (home made pastas and generally good Italian) or Zeytin (Turkish). Celeste also gets really crowded and I don't know if they take reservations.

If you want to spend a little more, try Roth's Westside Steakhouse (93/Columbus). A nice space with good, traditional steakhouse fare.
