Recently noticed that the Tony Roma's at PCH & PV Blvd in Redondo closed down. Anyone know why it closed and what will be popping up in its place?

I think they lost their lease. A friend told me Chicago Ribs from down the street was going to set up shop at the closed Tony Romas...

Funny... about 6 years ago, my boyfriend who was new to the area called to order takeout from Tony Roma's. He then accidentally went to the Chicago Ribs. Obviously they didn't have an order waiting for him, but he got ribs there anyway and after leaving, realized his mistake. Anyway... he didn't like their ribs. I'm not much of a rib eater myself, so I guess I'll just take his word for it.

We've eaten at Lucille's in Torrance (where the old Houlihan's used to be at Del Amo mall) and he said the ribs there also are not very good compared with Tony Roma's, so when we go there, he just orders a burger instead. I love Lucille's portobello mushroom burger. I heard the waitress say that the Lucille's is owned by the person who also owns Hof's Hut in Torrance.

I checked out Tony Roma's website... looks like the closest one is now in Carson.

Sara And anybody else-- You can create TR's ribs in your own house!!! Just spray liquid smoke on them--bake them in an oven--then finish them off on a gas grill. Brush some sauce on them!!!
