Turkish Sandwich

Being that I can't get my San Diegan style burritos in Chicago, I was hoping someone could tell me where to find a yengen sandwich. Specifically, a grilled sandwich with Turkish soujouk, tomatoes, and Kaser cheese on toasted white bread. I will travel anywhere in the Chicagoland area to assuage this craving from my college days.

Turkish Cuisine on Clark Street in Edgewater serves up some tasty Turkish cuisine...although not quite as spectacular as the Turkish food I've had in New York. Great neighborhood for after dinner exploration too.

I haven't seen this offered in Chicago. Doesn't mean it's not available, but...

i haven't seen it on any menus, but you can find the ingredients at Istanbul Market

I eat variations of that all the time. Also, here's a website that describes the sandwich a little.
