Looking for a place for a meeting in Eagan, Burnsville or Apple Valley, Minnesota

I'm planning a series of meetings for an organization I'm involved with. The meetings will be south of the cities. The first ones will focus on the Eagan, Burnsville, and Apple Valley areas. Rather than hold our meetings in a public library or something, we were thinking of using a dining room at a local restaurant and having appetizers and things. The meetings would probably be in the after-work time frame (5:30 pm or so) with the complementary appetizers to welcome people and tide them over. Probably 20 people. Maybe 30.

What would be good options? A place that would be well viewed by people in that area, welcoming, not a chain (obviously) but probably not exorbitant either.

All ideas appreciated.

Thanks for all these thoughts. I'm checking into enjoy! and will hope that works out. And will check into the others if that doesn't pan out. Thanks.

      Hi karykat,

First, though I'm not a huge fan of the place for standard dinners, I think enjoy! would be a good option for this kind of event in the Apple Valley area. They likely could have a separate room for your meeting.

I'm not sure Gastron's suggestion would work (the Royal Cliff event center attached to Brianno's) as you might have to rent out the entire place. Might be worth a call though.

In Burnsville, in the area close to Burnsville Center, Chateau Lamothe is a nice place with an attached meeting/event center. They do a good job with appetizers and the wine bar is a good place to linger afterwards for coffee/desserts/wine.

In north Burnsville, Jensen's Cafe has a separate meeting space, though I'm not sure if it accommodates that many people. They recently re-opened for evenings. Also in the Burnsville "Heart of the City", Jo Jo's Rise and Wine is a little less known, but is convenient, would have space, and has some appetizers, pizzas, cheese plates, etc. I'm sure they could put out a spread of some sort with some advance planning.
